Although we only went South to Ft. Lauderdale/ Hollywood area about an hour and a half south of home, we still had a nice relaxing time. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza on the intracoastal waterway. It was a very nice place. Really not alot of restraunts around to eat at. After driving all over Saturday night we ended up at a local pizza place. Turned out to be a pretty good little place. We did some shopping and just relaxing. A much needed getaway. Since we are in the office 5 days a week 8-9 hrs a day, there isn't much time to spend doing much else but taking care of the kids and the homefront. Below are a few pictures.

Sounds like you had a nice time. We went to Ft. Lauderdale the weekend of the 4th for our anniversary too. We stayed in the Crown Plaza by the Sawgrass mall. We had a great time just relaxing and not having to get up early to take care of the munchkins.
