Something Funny

This seems to be the happening thing going around, so in my spare time thought I would try what I have seen on a few other blogs.Everyone needs to try this one. Go to Google and type in your name and the word "needs" . I typed it in like this..."Betty needs". See what you come up with. Unfortunately there is a show on TV called Ugly Betty so I came up with quite a bit of Ugly Betty needs, so I skipped over that. But I did get a few things out of it; Below is my list:

1. Betty needs a real Sanctuary. (this was pertaining to an elephant needing her own place)

2. Betty needs a baby. ( Don't think so!)

3. Betty needs a car seat(suppose I would if I had a baby.. not happening!)

4. Betty needs a pacemaker ( I surely would if i needed the 2 things prior)

But the funniest part is... when we arrived home from work last night we stopped to get our mail out of the mailbox and you will never believe what was in the mailbox...a box of baby formula! I think I about had a heart attack right there. Guess I will be needing that pacemaker soon!

Valentines Day...Friends, Food & Music

Saturday for Valentines day we headed off to Orlando to a Gaither Homecoming Concert with 2 other couples. We got there early enough to have a late lunch/ early dinner and then head over to our hotel to change clothes and head to the concert. We had seats in the nosebleed section wich didn't go over well with me. I get very claustrophobic when I am tired. After camp meeting and entertaining many days and some late nights I was more than exhausted. I was looking forward to a relaxing evening , but knew that if I stayed in the seats we were in I would surely have some type of panic attack. So after hearing the first few songs we headed to an empty section and sat at the bottom of the nosebleed section. Much better!! We actually had some air circulating. So the remainder of the concert was much better and enjoyable.
The line-up of people I can remember right off were: The Collingsworths, Ivan Parker, Janet Paschal, The Hoppers, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound(they were great by the way) and of course the New Gaither Vocal Band with Bill Gaither, Wes Hampton, Michael English, David Phelps & Mark Lowry.
It was a great concert and we had a lot of fun. Afterwards we headed off to get a dessert , which ended up in a shared meal between each couple at 11:30 at night. We went to PF Changs. Never been there but it was excellent! We had ran into Thomas & Erin Enyart who moved to the Orlando Area so they met us there and we had alot of fun! Below are a few pictures , my camera does not take the best pictures in the dark, maybe it's also the photographer.

Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!!

Today my parents celebrate 45 years of marriage. I want Mom & Dad to know they are the best parents anyone could ask for and I hope you celebrate many more years together. This crazy bunch here in Florida Loves you very much! Happy Anniversary!!

A little sidenote: This picture is a picture of a picture. I tried scanning the picture, but when I went to upload to blogger it kept telling me it was in the wrong format. So As I rushed around for work, I got the bright idea to take a picture of the picture. As you see, with the flash on, it shows a spot, but without the flash, I couldn't get enough light. So... the end product,- bad picture of a picture. Sorry!!
